Leo Full Moon – A Spread

Tonight’s Full Moon in Leo feels like a big one.  I don’t know why but something about it does.  I think that part of me is realizing that I have missed doing my New and Full Moon rituals at my old apartment in my own space and quiet time.  And on these Moons, I would also bring all of my crystals friends out to my closed-in deck to cleanse them with Sage or Palo Santo or both.  While I love my current living situation, one thing is missing: an outdoor deck.  I’m not a huge fan of bringing my crystals out to the common area of the parking lot area at my apartment complex.  Cleansing my crystals and decks is very sacred to me and not something I want to do while “on display”.

I decided I needed a new ritual, especially since it snowed last night and it’s way too cold to be outside for too long, says the Puerto Rican living in Atlanta.  Winter and I do not get along.  Yes, I enjoy the stillness and calm that Winter brings but I don’t enjoy bundling up.  I’m still fine-tuning my indoor Winter Weather Advisory ritual and so far, I’m feeling pretty good.  Lots of candles, incense, and Palo Santo burning away!

Luckily for us, this fiery Full Moon feels transformative.  Maybe because it’s the first Full Moon on 2016.  Maybe because it’s in confident, ambitious Leo.  Either way, I’m loving the energies and I want to capitalize on these transformative, ambitious energies as much as I can!

My Tarot Year Cards for 2016

I like to think Archangel Michael is my bro.  Technically, he’s everyone’s bro but I feel like he and Archangel Haniel have got my back BIG TIME.

I love that Lisa worked her spread-creating magic to craft a beautiful Archangel Michael spread for us to connect to our own personal strength and courage, especially since I’m working towards making my scriptwriting dreams a reality.  So far, the cards (and my dreams!) are all pointing to “Yes” and I want to take that first step NOW.   What had been keeping me back before?  Not knowing which step to actually take.  With the help of the cards and my Angel Bros, I feel like I’m finding a clarity I’ve never found before.  And I love it!

Tarot Wheel of the Year 2016 – January Card

Hello all!  I hope you had a wonderful New Year!  My boyfriend and I were busy fighting off some sort of flu thing that decided to join us pretty much the day after Christmas.  Not fun.  It ruined a lot of family time for us but I guess it was a sort of blessing in disguise.  For me, since I was on my end-of-year vacation time from work, I took it as my body’s way of telling me I needed to R.E.S.T.

Since I was sick and couldn’t really do much, I did a lot of link-following and reading up on year-end things.  What stuck out to me was a Wheel of the Year for 2016.  I followed Louise Androlia’s steps to draw my own Wheel of the Year for 2016.  A few intuitive messages came through that I’m really excited about!  I won’t go into detail about each month in this post but I will revisit this reading every month to see how the energies match up.

So…what’s up with January?

Full Moon Releasing – A Spread

I know I’m a little late on this but the other night, I finally had some time to do Vix‘s Full Moon Releasing Spread!  To be perfectly honest, I almost didn’t want to do it because a lot of independence-themed things have been popping up lately and it was starting to get me worried about my trajectory.  BUT since it was the last Full Moon of 2015 and it was on Christmas and it was in Cancer and it was at 11:11GMT…well, I felt like I’d be a fool not to tap into those energies!

Being the sweetheart that he is, my boyfriend got me Doreen Virtue’s Archangel Michael Oracle Cards so that I could “work with my new friend”.  Love it!  He knows I’ve recently connected with AA Michael through this meditation and he was hoping that we’d strengthen our connection with the Oracle Cards!  So sweet!  You’ll see AA Michael show up in just a sec!
