It’s September? Already?! Where is this year flying off to?!
I figured it would be interesting to see what this Mercury Rx would bring, especially since the shadow period was bringing me way down. My words would get lost, my mind would blank out, if I touched any kind of technology it was pretty much operator error – which is so not me. This has been quite an eye-opening Mercury Rx period for me…and it just started! Honestly, me and Mercury Rx get along fairly well but there’s just something about this one so look out because it’s about to get real up in here!
I haven’t done a Full Moon reading / ritual / cleansing / releasing in quite some time. After Thursday’s extremely powerful Enter The Sacred Temple session with Elayne Kalila Doughty, I found myself in a daze picking decks, lighting candles, ringing my singing bowl, shuffling cards, and laying them out while she was witnessing what we wanted to release. I let that be the time where I asked the cards to guide me. I feel like I’ve been stumbling along so why not ask for guidance? Boy, did they have answers.

Um…didn’t I just finish the blog post for the June card, like, yesterday?! Is this year flying by or what? How was your June? Did it reveal any new partnerships to you, romantic or otherwise? I’m grateful for new friendships emerging!
I finally was able to spend some quality time with my Spirit de la Lune deck! I’ve had it for longer than I’d like to admit but I felt like it was finally time to work with it since the new Linestrider came in. I could almost feel them calling out to each other! I thumbed through the Spirit de la Lune book to find a pretty interesting-looking spread called the Spiral Moon Spread. It’s a lovely spread and I’m so happy that I’ve taken my time with it.
How well do these two play along? Let’s find out!
Friday night I had some very serious, much needed self-care time. The theme of detoxification has been popping up for me and how well-timed is it, too! I’m shaking off the final blahs from being sick and I’ve been playing with the idea of energy healing more and more. Briana Saussy’s Sacred Bathing post popped up at the most perfect time as did Lisa‘s newsletter message (sign up! you’ll love it!) about energy healing and Angel Card Reading for Creatives! It all went in line with the Full Moon Releasing spread I did (by Vix at New Age Hipster!) and what an Intuitive Reader read for me on Saturday morning at a Psychic Fair I attended!

At the day job, I’ve got some long renders going on, which has given me some time to check out the ol’ blog-o-sphere. I love Gala Darling’s New Moon Magic posts and the post for today‘s New Moon in Aries was quite magical indeed! She had a spread by Michele Knight called the Life Changing Tarot Spread. Since I have started carrying a deck with me everywhere (new to me!), I decided I’d take this long render time to give this spread a go.

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re having a great one so far! I’ve been buzzing around running errands but I wanted to spend some quality time with my beautiful new deck before the day got away from me!
Because I missed the Kickstarter fun on this deck by *this much*, I got in on the second round of Lana Zellner‘s 78 Cards! Honestly, I forget how this deck even popped up in my feed but I’m so glad it did! It was either Insta, Tumblr, Facebook or any of the amazing writers mentioning they had a part in the book. I mean, seriously, how amazing is this lineup: Kelly-Anne Maddox writing the Majors (WHAAT!), Ethony Dawn writing the Swords (!!!), Sebastian Akesson writing the Cups (ZOMG!!), Christy Talbot writing the Wands, and Lana herself writing the Pentacles! Love it! The artwork is crazy beautiful, especially since I love love love tattoo art!
For now, I only have the deck but the book will be ordered soon. Until then, let’s see how my Tarot knowledge handles these beauties!
